Your order
Please check your chosen items, quantities, any personalisation and delivery address before placing your order. If you notice a mistake afterwards, email me as soon as possible and I’ll help where I can.
The product page explains what is included in your purchase. Please read it alongside these terms before ordering.
If an item is unavailable or there is a problem with your order, I’ll contact you. If I’m unable to supply something you’ve paid for, you’ll receive a refund for it.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed in the store and include applicable taxes unless clearly stated otherwise. Available delivery options and any delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
Any optional additional charge requires your agreement. If a pricing error comes to light, I’ll contact you to resolve it rather than charge you a different amount without your permission.
Shipping and delivery
Please see our Shipping & Delivery page for details of how books, posters and Gift Sets are sent, including printer-direct fulfilment and international delivery.
Wine Fogg remains responsible for your purchase even when a printing or delivery partner fulfils the order.
Goods remain our responsibility until they reach you or someone you nominate to receive them, except where you independently appoint a carrier that we have not offered.
Signed, wine-stained and personalised editions
Signatures and individually applied wine stains naturally vary. Where an item is made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you, such as a book with a personal dedication, it cannot be cancelled simply because you change your mind. This does not affect your rights if it is faulty or does not match its description.
Cancellations and returns
Eligible physical orders are subject to a statutory cancellation period ending 14 days after delivery of the last item. Cancellation requires notification to orders@winefogg.com.
Goods must be returned within 14 days of notification. Please contact me for the return address. Return postage is payable by the customer unless goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied
For whole-order cancellations, refunds include standard outward delivery but exclude any upgrade surcharge. Refunds are made without a fee to the original payment method within 14 days of notification, subject to receipt of the goods or evidence of return, whichever comes first. Deductions may apply for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods.
Your statutory rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected.
If something isn’t right
If your purchase arrives damaged, is faulty or does not match its description, please email me with your order number so I can help.
Your legal rights are separate from the change-of-mind arrangements above. Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. These rights include the usual 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods and, depending on the circumstances, rights to a repair, replacement or refund.
Digital access and memberships
Premium Access and memberships are provided online. The relevant product or registration page explains what is included, how long access lasts and how to get started. Book-owner benefits may require verification of your book or serial number.
Premium Access does not renew automatically. There are no automatic renewal payments.
Your statutory rights concerning faulty content or services are unaffected.
Your account and website content
Please keep your login details secure and let me know if you suspect someone is using your account without permission. Access is for your personal use unless your purchase expressly includes wider use.
Wine Fogg’s writing, photographs, maps and other protected content may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission, except where the law allows it.
The website may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or because of technical problems. If this materially affects access you have paid for, please contact me so I can help resolve it. These terms do not allow us to remove agreed paid benefits without an appropriate remedy where required by law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is used when you place an order, register a book, create an account or contact Wine Fogg.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms takes away your statutory consumer rights.
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by breaking our agreement with you or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Questions or complaints
Wine Fogg is a small, independent business. If you have a concern, please email me with the details and I’ll work with you to try to resolve it.
About these terms
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This does not take away mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring proceedings in courts available to you where you live.
The terms agreed when you make a purchase apply to that purchase. Later updates do not retrospectively remove your agreed rights.
