Fabrizio Pernigotti has around 40 ha of land, mostly forest, with 4 ha of grapevines.
Of this, 1 ha is Timorasso, which he has vinified since 2005.
Total production is around 30 hl of which 4,000 bottles of Timorasso, 4,000 bottles of red wine and the remainder is dedicated to bulk and bag-in-box.
Fabrizio makes one label of Timorasso each year, intensità with the vinification sometimes changing:
intentsità 2014 – 1-3 months on lees and 50% in oak for 6 months
intentsità 2015 – 8 days’ skin contact
intentsità 2016 – as per 2014 but without any oak
intentsità 2017 – 30 months on lees (vs the usual 1-3)
Additionally he produces Colombaia and Pi E’n (Barbera Riserva DOC), lagnè (Docetto) and Q anto (red blend)
