Vigne Marina Coppi

Vigne Marina Coppi was established in 2003 by Francesco Bellocchio and is named after his mother Marina, the daughter of the famous cyclist Fausto Coppi

After studying winemaking, Francesco purchased a small vineyard and convinced his wife to join him in the venture. Their first harvest was in 2005.

They are an artisanal producer with a production of 36,000 bottles / year produced from grapes grown with no chemical fertilizers, using only organic matter and manure in the vineyard.

Vigne Marina Coppi produce 3 Timorasso:

  • Francesca : from younger vines, intended to be drank young for pleasure
  • Fausto : single vineyard Timorasso named after Francesco’s grandfather. Stainless Steel fermented (~5,000 bottles produced)
  • Gran Fostó : single vineyard made in a Burgundian style. Fermented and aged (8 months) in tonneau + 4 years in bottle before release (~1,000 bottles)
